WWE Exit Made Mercedes Mone’s Life Change For The Better
Mercedes Mone has expressed her gratitude to the person who pushed her to walk away from WWE.
Mercedes Mone walked out of WWE in May 2022 while still one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Her partner at that time, Naomi, also walked out and after a brief stint in TNA returned to WWE, where she is currently Ms Money In The Bank.
However, a return was not in the cards for Mone, who has since emerged in AEW, where she will challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In Texas.
Mercedes Mone Grateful For Push To Leave WWE
In the most recent edition of her Moné Mag, Mercedes Mone reflected on her decision to leave WWE and thinks it made her life change for the better:
Growing up, WWE was everything to me. I never imagined my life without it. But over time, I’ve come to realize that it’s not WWE I can’t live without; it’s pro wrestling itself. I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the person who sparked this journey for me. Because of that pivotal moment, my life changed for the absolute better.
Not a day goes by that I don’t feel grateful for that decision. It pushed me to new heights, matured me into a strong-willed CEO, and empowered me to take control of my life and future. I’m especially thankful for all my fans who have stood by me throughout this journey.
Mercedes Mone will challenge for yet another title before she faces Timeless Toni Storm at Globe Life Field on July 12th.
