WWE Announces European Road To Royal Rumble In 2026

Building upon this momentum, the Stamford-based promotion announced the “Road to Royal Rumble 2026” European Tour during the Clash in Paris broadcast on August 31, 2025. The announcement featured a promotional trailer and posts across social media, unveiling an 11-city schedule that will bring live events to major arenas in Germany, the UK, Denmark, Poland, and Northern Ireland in January 2026.

The tour kicks off in Leipzig, Germany, on January 8th and wraps up in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on January 19th. SmackDown tapings are set for Berlin and London, while Raw will air from Düsseldorf and Belfast, with house shows filling out the rest of the itinerary.

The announcement also confirmed appearances by top superstars, including Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Fans were encouraged to register for pre-sale ticket information on wwe.com, marking the company’s largest European run ahead of the Royal Rumble, which is scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, later that month. The event will be the first traditional Royal Rumble held outside North America.

Saudi Arabia Will Host the 2026 Royal Rumble

The announcement was made on January 6, 2025, through WWE.com and a press release in partnership with Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority. While the exact date is yet to be finalized, the Royal Rumble will be part of the Riyadh Season festival in January 2026. This marks the Stamford-based promotion’s continued global expansion and deepens its partnership with Saudi Arabia, ensuring a landmark show with worldwide broadcast access.

WWE’s partnership with Riyadh and the Saudi Arabian General Entertainment Authority began in 2018 with a multi-year, multi-million dollar strategic agreement worth around $100 million annually. This partnership is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative to boost entertainment and sports. Riyadh has hosted major events such as Greatest Royal Rumble (2018), Crown Jewel, Super ShowDown, and Night of Champions, including SmackDown tapings and the launch of WWE Experience theme park.
