WWE Drops 3 More Cryptic Teasers Hinting At Major Return

WWE had the wrestling world guessing with a recent cryptic video and now the company have released three more!

Wrestling fans donned their Sherlock Holmes hats when WWE dropped a short video featuring someone walking in black leather shoes and black trousers. There might not have been much information to go on for fans, but many guessed everything from the impending return to TV of the former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther to a shock return to the company for Andrade.

Despite Andrade leaving WWE and making his re-debut for AEW, there has been talk of the former US Champion being forced into a huge U-turn due to an apparent non-compete clause that prevents him from working elsewhere for a whole year.

But the vignette may not have been hinting at a return after all, as three more have now been dropped with different shoes featured each time. The second video appears to show laced-up boots, the third looks like black athletic shoes, but the last video might provide the biggest clue of all. It appears to show a pair of boots covered with jeans. A look most recently associated with Brock Lesnar.

What Do WWE’s Videos Mean?

Fans are continuing to guess what the videos mean, with many now believing that, rather than a return, they’re in fact hinting at a War Games team for Survivor Series. The boots and jeans combo has many people expecting Lesnar’s imminent return. The other sartorial choices could well be worn by his partners, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and, unexpectedly, Austin Theory.

Austin Theory was first rumoured to be part of The Vision’s WarGames team before the group viciously betrayed Seth Rollins, kicking him out of the group.
