WWE Deal Way Better Than AEW Partnership Claims TNA Champion

Triple H WWE Tony Khan AEW

One TNA star has claimed that the company’s current relationship with WWE is “way better” than the previous one with Tony Khan’s AEW.

WWE and TNA have been partnering in recent months with Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship while Joe Hendry has seemingly made himself at home in NXT.

On the flip side, Charlie Dempsey, Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame have all appeared in TNA and it seems there could be more crossover in the future.

In the past TNA – under the leadership of fired President Scott D’Amore – had a partnership with AEW that saw Kenny Omega hold the TNA and AEW World Championships at the same time in 2021 before AEW’s Christian Cage defeated him for the TNA title.

No Selfishness In WWE/TNA Deal

Speaking to Metro, current TNA World Champion Moose has claimed the current arrangement with WWE is much better as he believes no company is being selfish:

I think this is the best relationship that TNA’s ever had. [It’s] way better than the one we had with AEW, better than what was done with AAA, and any other company.

I think this relationship [with WWE], both companies respect each other and [are] doing great by each other, and there’s no – there’s not one company that is being selfish. Both companies are doing great. So I think this is how a relationship is meant to be in pro wrestling, and TNA and WWE is doing the best job of it.

Moose will defend his TNA World Title in a six-man elimination match at Slammiversary against Joe Hendry, Nic Nemeth, Frankie Kazarian, Josh Alexander, and Steve Maclin. Currently, there are no WWE talents scheduled to be part of that show but surprises are not out of the question.
