WWE Credited For TNA Landing New TV Deal With AMC
WWE has helped TNA get the exposure required for them to land the AMC deal, reveals Moose
TNA has recently had crossovers with WWE NXT. Since the two companies made a collaborative deal in 2024, talent from one company can appear on the other’s show.
TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appeared in WWE’s Royal Rumble in 2024 and was acknowledged in commentary, giving TNA some mainstream visibility.
NXT talent competing with TNA talent was another highlight as the two brands helped lift each other. A major recent example of this crossover was a five-on-five steel cage match between Team NXT and Team TNA.
This collaboration with WWE’s NXT brand has helped them close a deal with the AMC network, where their flagship show Impact is set to air from now on.
TNA’s Moose Credits WWE and NXT Partnership For NXT Deal
TNA star Moose recently sat down with Scott Mitchell of PWMania.com for an in-depth discussion. In the interview, Moose credits WWE and NXT for being integral to TNA in landing the AMC network deal, as they are major platforms for TNA talent to be noticed.
Oh man, I honestly believe without the working relationship that we have with NXT, we probably wouldn’t be in the position we are to be having this AMC deal. Plus, I just think that because WWE has a big platform, every time one of our talents goes there, we’re seen by millions of people.
After our performance there, those viewers who watch their show, if they like a guy like me or Santana or Leon, they will tune into AXS TV, which used to be our home, to see what we’re doing there. I’m grateful for our relationship. It’s only going to get better.
Moose went on to describe the grand scale of the AMC network and its massive reach of up to 60 million homes, which would enable bigger stars from the Stamford-based promotion to perform on their show as opposed to their previous broadcasting network, AXS, which was smaller in scale.
Obviously, it’s going to get better because we’re in the beginning parts of it. I think it’s going to get much better now because we’re on a bigger network. I believe, and I don’t know for sure, but just from my belief, they’re going to send us bigger stars because before we used to be on a smaller-scale network on AXS, but now we’re on a huge network that is in 60 million homes. It’ll probably make them want to send bigger stars to our show because it will be seen by more eyes.
