WWE Creative Pushing For Raw Star To Win 2026 Royal Rumble
The front-runner for the WWE men’s Royal Rumble match has emerged.
With Survivor Series done and dusted, attention has begun to turn to the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 42. However, at least on Raw, there could be a new World Champion before WWE arrives in Saudi Arabia for the first Rumble event outside of North America.
On the January 5 edition of Raw, Bron Breakker will challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. The show is set to be stacked to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Raw’s move to Netflix.
However, it seems that big things are coming for Breakker one way or another.
WWE Royal Rumble Plans In Place
According to a new report from WrestleVotes, Breakker is the current favourite to win the men’s Rumble match among the creative team. A victory for the second-generation star has been “strongly considered.”
“Bron Breakker is your current… whiteboard favorite, as so bluntly described to us to win the Royal Rumble. An idea has been strongly considered within creative circles that would see Breakker win the Royal Rumble on January 31 from Saudi Arabia.”
Interestingly, Breakker remains the frontrunner despite his upcoming match with Punk. Although it’s not confirmation by any measure, this would suggest that Breakker won’t be beating Punk on Raw.
“Regardless of the announced match for the January 5, Monday Night Raw for the world title in Brooklyn versus CM Punk… we can report that the current favorite, or the odds on favorite, as creative stands right now, is for Bron Breakker to win the men’s Royal Rumble,”
