What WWE Corporate Believes Regarding Karrion Kross-Scarlett Status

An update has been given regarding how WWE’s corporate side views Karrion Kross and Scarlett.

The talk of the wrestling world has been the husband-wife duo of Karrion Kross and Scarlett seemingly departing WWE. The duo returned to WWE in August 2022, signed three-year deals, and those deals have expired.

Following their contracts expiring, Kross and Scarlett released a documentary on YouTube covering his final weeks in the company, along with some unfiltered comments from Kross about how disappointed he was that there wasn’t a new deal for them.

Karrion (or Killer) Kross and Scarlett have also shared email addresses that can be used to contact them to book them for wrestling shows.

Given that it’s pro wrestling and WWE has a history of Seth Rollins faking knee injuries to deceive fans within their own company, thereby cashing in on Money in the Bank, there is skepticism about the legitimacy of this story. Many people believe Kross and Scarlett may still be under contract with WWE.

According to Wrestlevotes on X, there are higher-ups in WWE who believe Kross and Scarlett really are gone.

For what it’s worth, there are people within WWE corporate — with no ties to creative or anything storyline-wise — who are under the impression that Karrion Kross and Scarlett are no longer with the company.

Some People In WWE Believe That Karrion Kross Will Be Back

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported on the story, noting its uniqueness, and expressed a belief that Karrion Kross (and likely Scarlett as well) will return.

It’s definitely being kept quiet. It’s a weird one. There’s definitely way, way, way too much talk and the nature of the talk makes me think there’s more to it.

They gave him an offer, and he didn’t sign as of this week. He may be a free agent. I know he’s doing a lot of media because his book came out on Tuesday, and the people who are doing interviews with him are being told – it’s not WWE sending him on tour, it’s ECW Press – and they basically said, you cannot ask any questions regarding his contract situation. He doesn’t really talk about it in his interviews; he talks about his life, not the WWE part of his life so much.

The belief in WWE is that he’s going to be back, but we’ll see. They are not telling anyone anything, but everyone’s pretty sceptical. Are they working the boys on this if he comes back? You could say yes, but it’s not like they’re being fooled.

In his last WWE match (for now), Karrion Kross lost clean to Sami Zayn at SummerSlam. After the match, Zayn told Kross that it was over between them. Kross did not appear on Raw after SummerSlam.
