John Cena vs. AJ Styles has been confirmed for Crown Jewel, with plans of his next opponent surfacing as well.

Recently, Cena took to social media to suggest a match between The Phenomenal One and himself, and soon, Triple H confirmed the match for Crown Jewel.

Following that, The Champ might be booked for a WarGames debut and will finally have his final match on December 13th, 2025, at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.

John Cena might have another title run before his final match

The only championship that Cena has not held in his career is the Intercontinental Championship. Ahead of his final match, WWE might be planning to book him for another championship match.

As per Bodyslam, the global juggernaut is looking into a match between Dominik Mysterio and John Cena after Crown Jewel 2025.

The Judgment Day member is enjoying a strong championship run, and a match against The Champ can actually be a great way for him to boost his credibility.

Furthermore, WWE can have Cena dethrone Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship. This can even make John Cena a Grand Slam Champion.

Interestingly, with only a handful of dates remaining, WWE used social media to promote AJ Styles vs. John Cena for Crown Jewel since he has no weekly show appearances ahead of the event.
