WWE Considering Major Change To Hall Of Fame

Paul Heyman WWE Hall Of Fame Speech

Change could be coming to the WWE Hall of Fame.

In recent years the Hall of Fame ceremony has taken place directly after the final SmackDown before WrestleMania. While this approach has created a more streamlined format for the company, fans in attendance and watching at home have often lamented what is essentially a lengthy double-taping.

However, this could be about to change.

According to a new report from Wrestle Votes, not everyone within WWE is happy with how recent Hall of Fame ceremonies have been conducted. As a result, the company is considering a change, although there’s no word on when or where the 2025 event will take place.

“After speaking with sources, we’ve heard varying speculation about when and where the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place. Some within the company strongly dislike the recent format of the ceremony following SmackDown. We’re told WWE is considering a change, with no mention of the time or place in any WM promotional material so far.”

Triple H To Headline WWE Hall Of Fame

On January 29, it was announced that Triple H would headline the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame. The induction will be the veteran’s second after he was given the honor as part of D-X back in 2019.

This was followed by the news that Michelle McCool will be joining him as part of the class of 2025. The star spent seven years with the company as a full-time wrestler between 2004 and 2011, becoming the first woman to hold the Divas and Women’s Championships
