WWE Considering Major Change To AAA

Triple H WWE

WWE’s impact on AAA is growing.

Although it initially promised evolution rather than revolution when it acquired the company back in April, WWE’s fingerprints are becoming increasingly prevalent in AAA.

At Triplemania XXXIII, the sports entertainment giant will have a heavy presence, with several Superstars involved in the card’s biggest matches. This includes Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano, and Dragon Lee challenging El Hijo del Vikingo for the Mega Championship.

There has even been talk that Dominik Mysterio could become the face of the entire promotion.

Meanwhile, JBL and Corey Graves are set to provide commentary on the event for WWE’s YouTube channel.

WWE Could Make Big Change To AAA

In addition, it’s now been reported that WWE is considering changing the AAA company logo. According to the latest episode of Wrestle Votes Radio, the move would be designed to give the logo a “fresh, modern look.”

“We are told WWE is strongly considering a re-design of the AAA logo, something that better reflects the company’s new identity under the WWE umbrella, while giving it a fresh, modern look.”

Although the new logo is unlikely to be unveiled at Triplemania XXXIII, it’s expected before the end of 2025.

“We’re told we shouldn’t expect to see this logo debut at Triplemania this weekend. However, sources say it is absolutely possible we could see it revealed before the end of the year. So the iconic AAA logo, TC, that’s been around for years, has been known to be basically the logo of Lucha Libre Wrestling, is now going to change with WWE in control.”

Triplemania XXXIII is set to take place on August 16 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
