WWE Officially Confirms Injury To Top SmackDown Star
The WWE Universe has witnessed at least three major superstars being sidelined due to an injury in the past few months.
Seth Rollins was injured during his match against Cody Rhodes, and The Vision members brutally attacking him only added to it. Next, Rhea Ripley suffered a facial injury during her match against IYO Sky, Raquel Rodriguez, and Stephanie Vaquer in October 2025.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE confirmed that Sami Zayn is now out of action owing to an injury.
He was seen in Nick Aldis’ office during the episode. He enquired about being ringside when the MFT faced Motor City Machine Guns. However, the SmackDown General Manager rejected the plea, informing him that he cannot be ringside until he is medically cleared.
Furthermore, WWE officially confirmed his injury and hence, he will not be competing.
The news of Zayn’s injury surfaced after he lost the United States Championship to Ilja Dragunov. Even then, Solo Sikoa’s MFT attacked both Dragunov and him. It’s confirmed that the former ‘Honorary Uce’ has set his sights on The Street Champion’s MFT.
Well, what I gathered from Sami’s Talks with Nick Aldis is that all of this is just the beginning of throwing a wrench in the works for War Games, and the search for partners will start sequentially#SmackDownpic.twitter.com/49ovPZN4o1

The WWE Universe is prepared for Saturday Night’s Main Event
The upcoming event will see two very important matches for the men’s roster.
First, CM Punk and Jey Uso will battle for the vacated World Heavyweight Championship. There are justifications for why both Punk and Uso deserve the championship.
On the other hand, Drew McIntyre will face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship with a huge stipulation.
