WWE Confirms Date Of Royal Rumble 2026
A date has finally been announced for WWE’s 2026 Royal Rumble event.
It was announced in the first week of 2025 that the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble would take place in Saudi Arabia, but no date was given for the event.
At the WWE WrestleMania 43 press conference, they confirmed the date for the Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 31st, 2026.
Since the 2026 Royal Rumble is taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the event will have an afternoon start time (or late morning depending on where you live) for fans in the US and Canada, while it will be earlier than a US PLE for fans in the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe.
The WrestleMania 43 press conference featured appearances from WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, and Charlotte Flair. Out of the names mentioned there, only Triple H, The Undertaker, and Bianca Belair spoke on camera.
Saudi Arabian Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, also spoke at the event and even mentioned the name of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, which may upset some people since Vince is never mentioned on WWE TV anymore due to his checkered past.
Even though SummerSlam became a two-night event this year, joining WrestleMania as a two-night event, WWE is keeping the Royal Rumble a one-night event, at least for now.
