WWE Confirm Another Title Match For SummerSlam Weekend

With one title match now in the books following NXT’s Great American Bash, WWE has made another one official for SummerSlam weekend.

Night one of NXT’s Great American Bash saw The Unholy Union put the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title on the line for the first time as they took on Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn retained their gold meaning that they will now face an even tougher challenge on the SmackDown held on the night before SummerSlam.

Fyre and Dawn will take on the team that they defeated for the gold at Clash at the Castle when SmackDown heads to Cleveland with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill looking to regain the gold. Both Cargill and Belair took to social media to note they were watching and ready for whichever team emerged victorious.

Packed WWE SmackDown Ahead Of SummerSlam

There will be more tag team action on that edition of SmackDown as DIY will put their WWE Tag Team Championship on the line against The Bloodline pairing of Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. One night later at SummerSlam, their Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship meaning it could be a very good weekend for The Bloodline.
