WWE Star Finally Confesses He Was El Grande Americano
The worst-kept secret in WWE has just been blown apart.
For months now, El Grande Americano has made his presence felt in WWE, but the luchador tried to keep his true identity under wraps. However, nobody was fooled in the slightest, and it was obvious that Chad Gable was the man under the red, white, and blue mask.
Gable denied being the company’s latest lucha star, despite El Grande Americano even wrestling in boots bearing the initials “CG.”
But the secret is now out as speaking at a baseball game, Chad Gable let the mask slip as he said:
So back in April I had my first singles match at WrestleMania. So in WWE terms, that’s like the be-all and end-all show, right? So that was kind of a crowning moment so far in my WWE career.
El Grande Americano Continues In WWE Without Chad Gable
Chad Gable, of course, did not have a match at WrestleMania 41, but El Grande Americano did. El Grande Americano defeated Rey Fenix, and it was indeed Gable’s first singles match on the grandest stage of them all.
Chad Gable has been out of action with an injury in recent weeks, but El Grande Americano has continued on, leading to some on-screen confusion. Except there is no confusion with fans, as it is now clearly Ludwig Kaiser portraying the luchador.
