WWE Announces Cody Rhodes Will Face The Miz On Raw, Plus Other Segments
Cody Rhodes will have his first match on WWE Monday Night Raw in six years when he faces The Miz in singles action. Monday’s Raw takes place at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan on April 11.
Cody and The Miz each go into their match on Raw with plenty of momentum. Cody returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 last Saturday when he defeated Seth Rollins in singles action. Two days later on Raw, Cody received a huge ovation from the Raw crowd in Dallas and made his intentions known that he was coming for the WWE Title.
As for The Miz, he was also victorious at WrestleMania when he teamed up with Logan Paul to defeat Rey & Dominik Mysterio in tag team action. Miz went on to attack Paul after the match. Last week on Raw, The Miz defeated Dominik Mysterio in under one minute.

Cody’s last match on Raw was a battle royal on May 2, 2016, when he was wrestling under the name of Stardust. Rusev was the winner of that match.
In other Raw news, Veer Mahaan will be facing Rey Mysterio in Veer’s “debut” match on Raw. Veer wrestled plenty of times on Raw prior to the October 2021 draft, but since the draft, he hasn’t had a match on Raw, so that’s why WWE is calling it his debut.
The Women’s Tag Team Titles are on the line with Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan getting a title shot against Women’s Tag Team Champions Naomi & Sasha Banks even though Ripley & Morgan lost a match last week to the champions. Ripley has shown signs of turning on Morgan, so that could happen on Raw.
AJ Styles will also face Damian Priest in a match that was announced last week.
Another segment announced for Raw is Montel Vontavious Porter hosting his “VIP Lounge” talk show segment with his new ally Omos as the guest. Last week on Raw, MVP attacked his former friend Bobby Lashley from behind and MVP made it known that he was with Omos now.
That’s all for now in terms of WWE’s Raw news. They could announce more of what’s to come on Raw on social and WWE.com in the days ahead.
