WWE World Champion CM Punk Enters Hall Of Fame
CM Punk is now a Hall of Famer.
Punk has accumulated many wrestling accolades over the past few decades. At Saturday Night Main Event on November 1, he added one more title victory to his already decorated wrestling resume, and it was the World Heavyweight Championship, which he won after defeating Jey Uso in a singles match.
Now, days after his monumental championship victory, he has earned a special spot in the Hall of Fame. The Best In The World was recently inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON) Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. This prestigious honor reflects his significant contributions and long-lasting impact on the wrestling world. Dave Meltzer made the announcement in a new YouTube video.
“Punk, real name Phil Brooks, 47, already fared better than most Hall of Famers in key categories, and proved to be an even bigger business mover in recent years in his comeback with AEW and WWE. The end of his AEW stint probably kept people for voting for him, but with his success as one of the top stars of a boom period in WWE, there was just too much to deny,” he said.
CM Punk To Star In Zootopia 2
CM Punk is having a great time exploring Hollywood projects, alongside his wrestling success. He is starring in the new 2025 animated film “Zootopia 2” as Zebro Zebrowski, one-half of a zebra buddy cop duo called the “Zebros,” alongside WWE superstar Roman Reigns, who voices his partner Zebro Zabraxton.
The film is a sequel to the 2016 hit “Zootopia” and features an all-star cast including Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The movie is set to release in theaters on November 26, 2025.
CM Punk is set to be a part of Survivor Series, where he’ll join Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso in the upcoming WarGames match against Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul.
