WWE: Chris Jericho Comments On Report Of Backstage Fight With Sin Cara

TJR Wrestling

There was reportedly a physical altercation between Chris Jericho and Sin Cara after Sunday night’s WWE live event in Leeds, England.

The Monday Night Raw crew were traveling on a tour bus to Glasgow, Scotland for today’s Raw tapings. It was reported that Cara was being disruptive and making annoying noises while on the bus. People told Cara to stop, but Cara continued. Finally, Jericho more forcefully told Cara to quit it, which led to Cara telling Jericho to f–k off.

They both exchanged some words until Cara threw a punch at Jericho, prompting everyone on the bus to jump in and break it up. Jericho apparently bit Cara’s finger during their altercation. This is all according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

There were earlier reports from the MLW Radio Network’s twitter account that stated Cara won the fight with Jericho getting knocked out. Jericho responded to this on Twitter by writing the following.

Jericho also posted the following photo of himself on Instagram which shows no visible bruises on his face.

This isn’t Jericho or Sin Cara’s first backstage altercation of 2016. Jericho almost got into a fight with Brock Lesnar after Lesnar’s SummerSlam match with Randy Orton. Jericho was confused as to the legitimacy of the ending of the Lesnar/Orton match, which led to Jericho and Brock exchanging words and having to be separated.

Sin Cara was in an actual fight earlier this year. It was with Simon Gotch of The Vaudevillains and Cara gave Gotch a black eye.
