WWE’s Charlotte Flair Challenged By Netflix Star

Charlotte Flair

A wrestler from a popular Netflix show has their mind set on a future match with WWE’s Charlotte Flair.

There was a wrestling show called “Wrestlers” on Netflix featuring the stars of Al Snow’s Ohio Valley Wrestling promotion. It was a behind-the-scenes look at what life is like for the OVW promotion that was once the home of John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, and many other WWE stars.

One of the stars of the Netflix show was Hollyhood Hailey J, a 24-year-old women’s wrestler with a bright future. It was reported that Hollyhood was going to get a WWE tryout, but she was pulled due to an undisclosed medical reason.

During a new interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co, Hollyhood confirmed missing the WWE tryout due to not being cleared.

“I’m doing a lot more of these conventions. We’re at New England Fan Fest right now. It’s popping and I had a WWE tryout but I didn’t get to go because I wasn’t cleared medically.”

“I am still not cleared. I’m on a doctor hunt. And then after that hopefully WWE is still interested in me. But as far as right now, I got UK coming up at the end of February. I’ll be in the UK and then I’m also thinking about going to Japan as well. So you never know.”

As for her WWE aspirations, Hollyhood made it clear she has Charlotte Flair on her mind as a future opponent.

“Charlotte Flair. I know she’s hurt right now and so she’s taking her time. I’m taking my time and then boom, I’ll see you soon honey.”

At WrestleMania 39, Charlotte Flair was in one of the biggest matches of the show when she lost the Smackdown Women’s Title to Rhea Ripley. However, “The Queen” won’t be in the ring at WrestleMania 40 due to a serious knee injury.

In December 2023, Charlotte Flair suffered a Torn ACL during a Smackdown match with Asuka. Surgery for the serious knee injury took place in early January and since then, Charlotte has been working hard at her recovery.
