WWE Changes Segment Involving The Bloodline At Raw’s 30th Anniversary

There has been a change to what The Bloodline will be doing on the 30th Anniversary Raw special.

It was this past Monday on the January 16th edition of Raw when WWE was advertising a segment involving The Bloodline where every generation of The Bloodline would be part of a ceremony to acknowledge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Over the past several months, The Bloodline group led by Reigns, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos, their brother Solo Sikoa, the “Honorary Uce” Sami Zayn and the Special Counsel Paul Heyman has dominated much of WWE programming.

The plan was for Roman’s father Sika to be there along with his uncle Afa as well as The Usos father Rikishi and his tag team partner Samu, who mentioned that he would be at Raw’s 30th anniversary on January 23rd in Philadelphia. There were going to be more family members on hand as well. However, those plans have changed.

In an update on what WWE has planned for The Bloodline on Raw’s 30th Anniversary, PWInsider has reported that the “Acknowledgment Ceremony” has been dropped. Instead of that segment, based on what occurred on last night’s Smackdown, PWInsider reports that Sami Zayn will instead be going before a Tribal Court in Philly for the “Trial of Sami Zayn.”

Here’s what else WWE has advertised for Raw XXX in Philly next Monday on Raw.

* Becky Lynch vs Bayley in a Steel Cage Match

* Raw Tag Team Championships: The Usos vs. The Judgment Day

* United States Championships: Austin Theory vs. Bobby Lashley

* WWE Legends including The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, X-Pac, Ron Simmons, Road Dogg, Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan, Jerry “The King” Lawler and more.

If you go to WWE’s website, they have completely removed any graphics regarding the Acknowledgement Ceremony, which has been removed from the show.

Shortly after this post went live, WWE tweeted this about the segment change:

“BREAKING: After the events of last night’s #SmackDown, The Bloodline will hold a Tribal Court for the Trial of Sami Zayn this Monday at 8/7c on #RAWisXXX on @USA_Network!”
