One WWE star is already looking beyond WrestleMania.

One of the biggest stories around WWE heading into WrestleMania has been drama between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair.

During one segment, fans felt Flair talked over Stratton in an effort to assert her authority, while a week later, in a face-to-face, the pair disregarded the script entirely and traded a series of personal insults. Although the promo battle got fans talking, those within WWE described it as a “wreck,” and it was reported there was heat on both women for their actions.

Despite the chaos, there is a wrestling match on the horizon, and Stratton will defend her Women’s Title against Flair at WrestleMania.

Tiffany Stratton Happy To Lose At WWE WrestleMania

During an appearance on the Gorilla Position podcast, Stratton almost conceded that a defeat to Flair is on the cards. She suggested that far from a loss dragging her down, it would actually help her career instead.

Stratton said that time is on her side, and she’s wary of achieving too much too soon.

No, I don’t think it would derail me in the long run. I do think, you know, it would be time for me to reflect and kind of go back to the drawing board and figure out what I need to do next. But I don’t think it would derail me in the long run.

I’ve got, again, like at least 10 more years in me. If anything, it would actually be kind of a good thing because I’m a year in on SmackDown, and I feel like I don’t want to accomplish too much too soon, to where like I get boring. Cause I just feel like if you run through SmackDown or Raw and you win a title so quickly, you kind of become boring if you don’t have a good storyline.

So I do think this could be something different for me if I do lose, and again, I could just go back to the drawing board and see what I need to figure out better.”

During the same interview, Tiffany Stratton appeared to take another shot at Charlotte Flair, congratulating her for “burying a rookie in an interview.” The star added that she hoped Flair got all of the TV time she desperately needed.
