WWE Champion Wants To Scrap With Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella has a target on her back.

At Clash In Paris, Nikki Bella came up short in her attempt to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. However, she remains adamant that her in-ring comeback will continue despite that loss to Becky Lynch.

The match was Bella’s first championship bout since 2018, and even more impressive considering that she announced her retirement in 2019.

While the future for Bella seems uncertain, a SmackDown star already has their eye on a match with the former Divas Champion.

During an appearance on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, Tiffany Stratton was asked for her list of dream matches, and Nikki Bella was among the interesting names on the list.

“That’s a really good question. I’m not amazing with wrestling history. I mean, I feel like I’ve already done that with Trish Stratus. That was somebody I looked up to, and I’ve already accomplished that goal so early in my career. So Trish, Stratus. Nikki Bella. She’s back right now. So, Nikki Bella, if you want to scrap, let’s go. She’s feisty.

I’ve said Kelly Kelly before, a little Barbie vs. Barbie moment for the Diva stans out there. Chyna, a tank. I think that would [have been] super cool. Maybe Lita, moonsault vs. moonsault.”

In the same interview, Tiffany Stratton said she’d love to get revenge on Becky Lynch. The two women battled in NXT through September 2023 as Lynch beat Stratton to claim the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time.

In a subsequent rematch for the title, Lynch came out victorious in the Extreme Rules Match. The Irish star eventually lost the title to Lyra Valkyria at Halloween Havoc.

Switching back to 2025, it’s been announced that Tiffany Stratton will make the next defence of her Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill. The pair most recently met at SummerSlam, where Stratton beat the Queen of the Ring.
