WWE Champion Wants To “Get Her Lick Back” On Becky Lynch

At WWE Clash in Paris, Becky Lynch shocked fans by interfering in the main event and physically assaulting CM Punk to help her husband, Seth Rollins, retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

The angle sparked widespread speculation that AJ Lee, Punk’s wife and a former WWE star, might make a surprise return to retaliate against Lynch and Rollins. This storyline has fans excited about potential mixed tag matches at upcoming WWE events.

Only time will reveal if AJ Lee’s much-anticipated return happens and if she will indeed seek revenge on Becky Lynch. Meanwhile, another rising star in WWE, Tiffany Stratton, has made it clear she also wants a shot at getting her hands on The Man.

Speaking on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, Tiffany Stratton credited Becky Lynch as a major influence in her WWE success. She has openly acknowledged that her match with Becky Lynch on September 30, 2023, at the NXT No Mercy (which she lost) event was pivotal in catapulting her career forward.

I definitely would say it was Becky Lynch for me. Becky came down to NXT, and we had a little feud. We had a match on NXT TV, and then we went to No Mercy, and I also got to go on the road loops with her, and I got to be on the road and stuff. So, that time for me was a time where I was doubting myself a lot. But in the very end of it all, I had learned so much and I had gained so much confidence from just being in the ring with Becky Lynch.

It was definitely after the No Mercy match where I was like, “Okay, I think I can actually be good at this one day or be like a ring general one day.” Because I was in the ring with Becky and I learned so much. I learned how to like call matches on the fly and work on the fly and stuff like that. So I think Becky has a lot to do with me and my confidence.

Because a couple months later, I got called up to the main roster, and I really think No Mercy was the match that put me on the map, and I think, main roster saw potential in me. So, Becky Lynch is definitely somebody that gave me a lot of confidence, and I learned so much from. [10:36 – 11:52]

Speaking further, the WWE Women’s Champion also expressed her desire to face Becky Lynch again and get payback for the loss she suffered at No Mercy.
