WWE Champion Wants Match With Tiffany Stratton

Another WWE star wants to face Tiffany Stratton.

From the moment Tiffany Stratton stepped into a WWE ring she was tipped for big things by fans and industry insiders.

Since that debut in late 2021, the star has already been NXT Women’s Champion, a Money In The Bank winner, and is the current Women’s Champion on SmackDown. So with her star shining so brightly, and the expectation that she’s just getting started, it’s unsurprising that rivals are lining up for a shot at the champion.

Tiffany Stratton Is A Woman In Demand

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green threw her hat into the ring for a match with Stratton. Green said she doesn’t know how a potential storyline would play out, but she’d love for her championship to be involved.

“I need a feud with Tiffy. I don’t know who’s the ‘good guy’, who’s the ‘bad guy’, whatever. But she’s so talented, and I love that she’s homegrown, but now put her in the ring with an indie girl. I’m putting up me. It doesn’t need to be with the championship, but I would love for it to be with my championship.”

When asked whether she thought a match would happen in the near future, she said she didn’t, but that doesn’t mean they can’t look long-term.

“No, but that’s why I’m here to say it. We’re so stuck in the routine of getting to work and let’s put together the storyline that makes sense in that moment. But let’s think outside of the box and let’s think what we can do down the road.”

It’s been widely reported that Tiffany Stratton will face Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania with her Women’s Title on the line. Following fan backlash to Flair’s new babyface persona since returning at the Royal Rumble, it’s been reported WWE will be presenting her as a heel opposite Stratton.

Meanwhile, the champion will make the next defence of the Women’s Title against Nia Jax on the February 14 edition of SmackDown.
