WWE Champion Thanks Triple H In Emotional Message After Title Win

A new WWE champion has issued a public thank you to Triple H following a huge night at Wrestlepalooza.

Wrestlepalooza marked a new era in WWE as it was the first show to be featured as part of the company’s new streaming deal with ESPN.

Brock Lesnar kicked things off by decimating John Cena in shocking fashion in one of the final matches of Cena’s legendary career. Later in the show, AJ Lee won her first match in over ten years when she made Becky Lynch tap out in a mixed tag team match that also featured CM Punk and Seth Rollins.

The night’s main event saw Cody Rhodes retain his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, but another star was celebrating their first title win on the main roster.

Stephanie Vaquer clashed with IYO SKY for the Women’s World Championship vacated by Naomi after she announced her pregnancy. Vaquer managed to pick up the win and the title, continuing her rise to the top after joining the company in 2024.

Taking to social media after the match, Stephanie Vaquer thanked Triple H as she reflected on the biggest win of her career:

I’ve fulfilled the dream of my life. Thank you for believing in me, for always supporting me, and for taking care of all of us. I am deeply proud of my WWE family and I promise to be a worthy representative. This is only the beginning… La Primera is just getting started.

Triple H’s wife Stephanie McMahon was surprised at Wrestlepalooza as The Undertaker informed her she was to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026.
