Current WWE Champion Reveals Need For Surgery: “It’s Really Bad”
Jacy Jayne reveals the lingering impact of her 2024 nose injury.
Jacy Jayne is still dealing with the aftermath of a serious injury she suffered over a year ago during WWE NXT Spring Breakin’. In April 2024, Jayne broke her nose in three places during a match against Thea Hail. Though she returned to action a few months later wearing a protective face mask, her recovery hasn’t been complete.
Speaking on WWE Die Woche, the current NXT Women’s Champion revealed she was advised to undergo a second surgery to fully repair the damage, but never proceeded with it. As a result, Jayne now breathes primarily through her mouth, underscoring how severe and lasting the injury truly was.

“Mine was shattered in three places and they basically were like, ‘Your nose is so broken, that we just have to make it straight first and then if you wanna have another surgery, you can come back and we’ll fix the septum. But I never had the second surgery so I can’t breathe out of my nose at all… I’m like a mouth-breather now. It’s really bad.” [H/T ITRWrestling]
