WWE Champion Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction In Royal Rumble

One WWE champion suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction seconds after she entered the Royal Rumble match.

The 2025 Royal Rumble kicked off with the women’s Rumble match. Two former WWE Women’s Champions kicked off proceedings as IYO SKY drew number one and Liv Morgan drew number two.

They were soon joined by the first NXT representative as Roxanne Perez entered her third Rumble match. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria was next to enter but things very quickly went wrong for the Irish star as her ring gear had a mind of its own.

Lyra Valkyria Suffers WWE Gear Mishap

Valkyria’s straps around her neck quickly came undone leaving her grappling with her gear rather than her opponents. Liv Morgan seemingly saw what was going on and nailed Valkyria with a shot to give her the chance to retreat to the corner and fix things.

A new WWE signing is set to be part of the women’s Royal Rumble match despite them suggesting they would be elsewhere during the show.
