WWE Champion Threatens To Show John Cena The Door

John Cena WWE Wave

A champion in WWE thinks he would be able to send John Cena packing for good if they ever had a match.

The retirement tour of WWE’s GOAT John Cena continued at Clash in Paris as he defeated Logan Paul in what many people are calling one of the best WWE matches of the year. Cena got the win in what was a very entertaining and competitive match.

That match took place four weeks after SummerSlam, when John Cena lost the WWE Title to Cody Rhodes in an outstanding Street Fight.

Since Cena has had back-to-back excellent PLE matches, he has shown that while his career may be winding down with only a handful of matches left, Cena can still compete at a high level in the ring.

Many wrestlers have been asked about John Cena in interviews this year. The dominant NXT Champion Oba Femi spoke to Going Ringside, and when Femi was asked about Cena, he seemed excited about the possibility of ending Cena’s career.

“If I could catch John Cena… I’ll put him out, I’ll show him the door, he’s on the way out, so watch your step, you know? I would. CM Punk would be another good one.”

Considering Femi is still in NXT and there’s no word on when he might get called up to the main roster, it seems likely that Femi will have the opportunity to face Cena before he retires at year’s end.

Oba Femi Warns Other Top WWE Stars In Addition To John Cena

Also in the interview, Femi discussed wanting to face the former World Heavyweight Champion if there was a good reason for it.

“I am, it has to be for the right reasons. Not just because the fans said so. I have to want to fight Gunther. He has to want to fight me. There has to be a good reason. There has to be a good cause. It can’t just happen because they… Because fans say it’s a dream match.”

Regarding CM Punk, Femi was excited about that possibility as well.

“Big man, different style. Smaller guy, but very experienced, and he’s carved out his own move set, and he’s well recognized within the wrestling ecosystem, and so am I. So those are the interesting scenarios. It’s limitless what we can do.”

Randy Orton is another veteran wrestler for whom Femi has a warning.

“I would definitely fight Randy. Just feel sorry for Randy, his back. I’ll show him the door too. It’s about time. I grew up watching those guys. I think they’ve been on top for a very long time and I think enough is enough. I think it’s time for the new crop of superstars to rise up to the top.”

The 27-year-old Oba Femi is considered a future WrestleMania main eventer because the 6’6″ and 300-pound “Ruler” of NXT continues to impress, and he’s certainly not afraid of anybody who steps in the ring with him.
