2023 has been quite a year for WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther and he’s saved the best news for last.
Gunther set the record for the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in WWE history in 2023 and The Ring General has remained dominant, having critically acclaimed matches against the likes of Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.
Away from the ring, it has been quite a year for the Austrian star as well as he married ex-WWE star Jinny, who featured on the NXT UK brand. And now more happiness has come to their family.
Gunther took to social media to announce the birth of his and Jinny’s new baby boy:
This morning our son entered the world. What a blessing

When Did Jinny Leave WWE?
A fixture on the UK independent scene as Jinny Couture, the English star first entered a WWE ring in 2017. She was then part of the NXT UK brand beginning in 2018, sharing the ring with the likes of Toni Storm, Isla Dawn, Kay Lee Ray, Piper Niven, Rhea Ripley, and current NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria.
Jinny’s last match took place in November 2021 and in early 2023 she announced she was retiring from the ring due to injury.
Everyone at TJR Wrestling sends their warmest congratulations to Gunther and Jinny for their new baby boy.
