A WWE Superstar expects to be released.

R-Truth’s release has stirred the WWE world. Now, former WWE Champion Booker T thinks he may be next on the list.

On June 1st, R-Truth let the WWE Universe know that the Stamford-based company had decided not to renew his contract. That meant the former 24/7 Champion wouldn’t be seen on TV. The fans, stars, and veterans of the business were shocked by Truth’s post and came out in support of him.

On the Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed the string of recent releases. The NXT commentator said that he believes he may be next on the list. He added that either WWE would ask him to walk away or he would walk away on his own accord.

“It is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is and like I say, everybody’s time comes. Trust me. Trust me. I’m waiting (he laughed). My time is gonna come. It’s either I’m gonna walk away or they’re gonna tell you it’s time to walk away sooner or later. Am I right or wrong?… So I’m just a realist, man. Just a realist.”

WWE RAW Was Filled With R-Truth Chants

The recent episode of WWE RAW marked the first one after R-Truth’s exit from the company. The fans came in support of the former WWE Superstar, chanting his name during every segment they got a chance to. The 53-year-old star has struck a chord with many WWE fans and the fans in turn outpoured their love for him on the show.

Throughout the show, the commentary team didn’t acknowledge the fans’ chants. When the show went off the air, CM Punk took a mic and addressed the fans. He asked them how they dared to chant for someone who wasn’t with them. Many feel his actions were a nod to how the fans used to chant his name when he was away from the company.
