Potential WWE Booking Would Allegedly Destroy Jey Uso

Jey Uso seems to keep running out of luck.

After being dethroned by Gunther on WWE RAW, Main Event Jey entered the King of the Ring tournament. He defeated Bronson Reed, Sheamus, and Rusev to advance into the semi-finals.

Unfortunately, he lost to Cody Rhodes in the semi-finals. With King of the Ring out of his grasp, fans truly do not know in which direction WWE plans to take his story.

WWE needs to avoid putting Jey Uso as a helping hand

The momentum Jey Uso has with the WWE Universe should not be wasted by the company. His championship run was cut short by Triple H, and it seems that everyone around him is getting the push except him.

While speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle Studios, Tommy Carlucci spoke about The YEET Master constantly suffering major defeats and the one thing that would definitely kill his momentum.

What does Jey have right now? He was a champ for 51 days and he just lost clean to Cody in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring. Where do we go from here? Oh, does Jimmy come up to him and he shows up on Friday on SmackDown and says, ‘Hey dude, I got a little issue going on. You want to come with me?’ Is that what they’re going to do Coach? Because if they do, that’s just terrible writing and it’s just killing Jey Uso big time. And it’s going to piss off his dad, Rikishi, big time.

While the idea of Jey and Jimmy Uso together might be appealing to the fans, the former World Heavyweight Champion is still at the top of his singles journey. Ideally, WWE should soon use it to give him another championship run.
