WWE Pushed To Book John Cena Against Massive Legend After 12 Years
John Cena will ride off into the sunset in December 2025, and his final match is yet to be decided.
So far, The Last Real Champion has battled Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, R-Truth, and is heading into battle against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza.
When The Beast returned at SummerSlam, fans knew either he would be Cena’s Wrestlepalooza opponent or the final opponent. Turns out, the final opponent is yet to be revealed.
Rob Van Dam believes The Rock should be John Cena’s retirement match
Rob Van Dam and John Cena have history. Back at ECW One Night Stand 2006, Cena lost the WWE Championship to RVD at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The crowd’s hostility was possibly one that The Leader of Cenation never again faced elsewhere.
While Rob Van Dam came quite close to signing up for a match during the Farewell Tour, it did not work out. However, he believes that The Final Boss should be the one to take on The Champ in December 2025.
The Rock. The Rock, The Rock, The Rock. That’s definitely as big as you can go, bro. Where are you going to go from there?
Currently, The Final Boss is invested in his Hollywood schedule, and recently revealed his changed physique while promoting his new film, The Smashing Machine.
On the other hand, John Cena has only seven more dates remaining on his Farewell Tour.
