Ex-WWE Champion Big E Appearing In New Peacock Comedy Series
WWE star Big E has been announced for a new comedy series on Peacock.
Big E hasn’t wrestled since March 11th, 2022, when a move on the outside went wrong and saw him land on his head and neck. The incident caused a neck injury that has left the star unable to compete in the years since.
However, the former WWE Champion has kept active with other projects, and Deadline reports that the latest of these will see him guest star in new Peacock comedy series, ‘Laid.’ The show will centre around a woman who discovers her former lovers are dying in mysterious ways. Big E will be one of eight guest stars for the show, although his role is currently unconfirmed. Deadline describes the series as follows:
“Laid follows a woman who finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past to move forward. It’s described as a f**ked-up rom-com where the answer to “Why can’t I find love, is there something wrong with me?” is a resounding: “Yes, there is. The problem is definitely you.””
The main cast of Laid will include Stephanie Hsu, Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano, and Tommy Martinez. It also has a wrestling connection with Young Rock Showrunner Nahnatchka Khan helming the new series.

Big E Admits He Might Never Be Cleared To Wrestle
Big E provided a major update on his health back in April, revealing that his C1 vertebra has healed fibrously but unfortunately hasn’t formed new bone. This means that the star hasn’t been cleared to wrestle again, and he says that might never happen. Despite this, he said that he is thankfully free of pain and otherwise healthy.
