WWE’s Bianca Belair Teases Match With Top Star In Another Company

A match between Bianca Belair and a veteran wrestler in another company is of great interest to the EST of WWE.

At the WWE Bash In Berlin PLE, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill became two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions by defeating Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.

It was a match result that likely didn’t surprise most WWE fans since Belair & Cargill have been a dominant duo this year while Fyre & Dawn only won the titles because they pinned another team in a triple threat match rather than beating Belair or Cargill.

While Belair is having fun with Cargill, it has been a year where Belair hasn’t gone after the Women’s Title. That’s a bit of a surprise considering Belair is a three-time Women’s Champion on the WWE main roster and arguably one of the top singles stars in the company.

During an appearance with Tim & Eli on the Battleground podcast, Bianca Belair recalled some big moments from January’s Royal Rumble with Cargill and also with TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace, who was a surprise competitor in the Women’s Rumble match.

“The Rumble this year was really good with planting some seeds. Jade (Cargill) and I went in there and had the moment across from each other and had everybody going crazy and ‘this is just a taste of what’s to come.’ Now, all of a sudden, we’re in a tag team and taking the division by storm. Everybody expected us to go head-to-head. No, it’s better for us to be on the same side.”

“We had the moment with Jordynne and I, and everybody got really excited with that. The possibilities are endless for the future. I think we planted some seeds at Rumble, hopefully.”

Even though Grace is still the TNA Knockouts Champion and under contract to TNA, she has performed on the WWE NXT brand several times in recent months, including last week on NXT TV against Sol Ruca. Grace also defeated NXT’s Wendy Choo at the TNA Victory Road PLE this past weekend.

When Could WWE Sign Jordynne Grace From TNA For A Match With Bianca Belair?

The association between WWE and TNA will likely continue in the future, but it’s also possible that Grace could make the jump from TNA to WWE in the future.

It was reported in July 2024 that Grace’s TNA deal is set to expire in January 2025, which could lead to WWE signing her and Grace appearing in the Royal Rumble again, but this time as a WWE superstar. If that happens then the “dream match” between Belair & Grace would be even more likely.
