WWE Yet To Finalise Becky Lynch Return, Star Didn’t Attend Raw Netflix Premiere

Becky Lynch wasn’t pulled from WWE Raw.

Following the January 6th episode of Raw, it was reported that Becky Lynch’s planned WWE return had been scrapped.

According to the report, Lynch was supposed to be involved in the Women’s World Title match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. However, those plans were dropped in favour of a surprise appearance for The Undertaker, who celebrated with Ripley after she won the championship.

Lynch hasn’t appeared on WWE television since losing to Morgan on the May 27th edition of Raw. In the days after the show she allowed her contract to expire.

Ahead of Raw, the Irish star featured in several WWE commercials and was repeatedly linked with an appearance on the show’s Netflix debut.

Becky Lynch Plans “Not Solidified”

However, a new report from Fightful Select has claimed that Lynch was never scheduled to be on Raw at all.

The report noted that while talent expected to see her there, she never appeared on camera and wasn’t even in Los Angeles for the show. Fightful added that contrary to earlier reports from elsewhere, Lynch wasn’t planned for the show and a scheduled appearance wasn’t cut.

Despite this, Lynch is expected to return to television and she’s agreed to a new contract with the company. Although she remains absent, both The Man and WWE expect to continue to work together.

As of the end of 2024, no plans for Lynch’s return to television or WrestleMania direction have been solidified. However, those Fightful spoke to expect her to be factored in.
