WWE Star Bad Bunny Gets Lucrative Super Bowl Slot
Rap star and sometimes WWE talent Bad Bunny has earned one of the biggest spots in entertainment – half-time at the Super Bowl.
WWE fans know Bad Bunny for impressive outings in the ring, which began when he teamed with Damian Priest at WrestleMania 37 to defeat John Morrison and The Miz.
The Puerto Rican rap sensation returned to action at the 2022 Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant in the men’s Rumble match. Bunny managed to claim the scalps of Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler in that bout before he was dumped over the top rope by eventual winner Brock Lesnar.
Bad Bunny’s finest hour in WWE was undoubtedly in his native Puerto Rico at Backlash in 2023. This time, he went one-on-one with Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight, picking up the win in a match that saw Carlito as well as Puerto Rican wrestling legend Savio Vega among those who got involved.

Bad Bunny is following in the footsteps of music legends such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Beyonce, The Rolling Stones, and Paul McCartney in headlining the half-time show.
The 2026 Super Bowl will take place at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California. That stadium played host to WrestleMania 31 in 2015.
