WWE Backtracking On Alexa Bliss Plans Already
Alexa Bliss is back in WWE with a bumper new contract but it seems the company is changing its mind on plans for her already.
Alexa Bliss had not been seen on WWE television since falling to defeat against Bianca Belair at Royal Rumble 2023. The former Raw Women’s Champion revealed a skin cancer diagnosis two months later before giving birth to her first child in November 2023.
As her absence continued, many questions had been raised about her future in the company. Alexa Bliss has teased a return to the ring ahead of the Royal Rumble but reports suggested she still had to work out a deal with WWE. It has since come to light that a deal was signed on the morning of the Rumble itself as the length of Alexa Bliss’ new WWE deal has been revealed.
PWInsider reported that moving forward Alexa Bliss will be on the Raw brand. That came as a surprise to some as many expected her to have an affiliation with the Wyatt Sicks when she returned to WWE. And now it seems the company might be changing its mind.
Alexa Bliss Moving To SmackDown?
A follow-up report from PWInsider noted that there have been pitches in WWE for Alexa Bliss to appear on SmackDown – the show the Wyatt Sicks have been moved to. Bliss wasn’t at the February 3 Raw taping although the original plan for her return had a lot to do with the red brand.
Alexa Bliss was originally set to make her return at the January 13 edition of Raw in San Jose but that obviously did not happen.
