WWE Backstage Reaction To Hollywood Star Getting Bigger Pop Than Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is currently WWE’s biggest star, or at least, he is always within the top five at any given point.

He hasn’t had a championship run since being dethroned at WrestleMania 40, but continues to sell tickets whenever he is advertised for any show.

The OTC’s last match was Survivor Series WarGames, where he was a part of team babyfaces. Unfortunately, the babyfaces did not win the match.

Macaulay Culkin received a bigger pop than Roman Reigns

On WWE RAW’s debut on Netflix, both Roman Reigns and Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin were present. The OTC defeated Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat for the Ula Fala, while Macaulay Culkin was present ringside during the show.

When he was broadcast, it became one of the biggest moments of the show. While speaking to WIRED, the Hollywood star revealed that CM Punk told him how he found it funny that Culkin got a bigger pop than Roman Reigns.

I love wrestling, are you kidding me? I’m a lifelong wrestling fan. Actually, a well known wrestling fan, too. Recently, I went to one of the early Raws on Netflix and got a big pop from the crowd. They showed me in audience. I was going out to Raw a couple of weeks later and I was on the plane with CM Punk. I was like, ‘Hey Phil, I’m going to Raw tomorrow. Good luck.’ ‘Thanks. I just want to let you know, me and the boys in the back, we thought it was funny that you got a bigger pop than Roman Reigns from the audience. [H/t: Fightful]
