Massive WWE Babyface May Turn Heel In Feud With Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has turned babyface, but his former rival is yet to change his character.

Cody Rhodes is a beloved babyface in the global juggernaut. While his heel turn has been speculated, the former Undisputed WWE Champion has revealed that it’s not going to be soon.

On the other hand, there is a possibility that Rhodes is trying to throw the audience off the scent, so when it happens, it’s quite the surprise.

Roman Reigns can push Cody Rhodes to become a true heel

On Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts explained a situation where The American Nightmare can become a true heel, but it would require the audience to choose a stronger babyface over him.

One man who could make that possible is Roman Reigns. The OTC is already a babyface, but with another match against Rhodes, The American Nightmare could turn heel by enabling the fans to pick Reigns over him.

I don’t think Cody becomes a true heel until a stronger babyface than Cody Rhodes comes up. I think that Cody is giving permission for the audience to be split on this. But, if the audience is split on this, and Cody shows a little bit more edge and then people start cheering for Cody again, then I think that’s fine. I think the true turn comes when the audience completely chooses somebody else. I think if there’s another match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, I think that might be when the true turn comes. And I think that won’t be for a little while.

With Rhodes in a feud with Cena and Reigns in a feud with Rollins and Co., it doesn’t seem that a match between the former rivals is possible anytime soon.
