WWE Going On Another European Tour Ahead Of Major PLE
WWE is returning to Europe for Clash in Paris in August but now the company has added some increasingly rare shows to their calendar as well.
WWE is currently in Europe for a run of shows with the March 17 edition of Raw taking place in Brussels, Belgium. That show saw John Cena blame the fans for his shock heel turn in the company as he accused them of using and abusing him for the past two decades. Cody Rhodes confronted Cena noting that he hopes the real John Cena turns up at WrestleMania 41 for their WWE Championship match or he’ll retire him early.
The tour will continue on the road to WrestleMania with Raw still to take place in Glasgow, Scotland while the next two editions of SmackDown will occur in Bologna, Italy and London, England respectively.
Now, the company has confirmed it is coming back with shows in Ireland, England, Wales, and France.
WWE Returning To Lyon
Clash In Paris will take place on August 31 but the company will be kicking off a European tour which includes some increasingly rare untelevised live events on August 22 when SmackDown takes place in Dublin, Ireland.
House shows will then take place in Liverpool and the city that is home to the English Football League Cup champions, Newcastle, before Raw heads to Birmingham. Live events will then occur in Manchester, Leeds, and Cardiff before SmackDown heads to Lyon, France. Lyon is the city that had the arena shaking for AJ Styles when Backlash France took place in 2024.
