WWE Announces Riddle Will Miss SummerSlam Due To Injury
WWE has confirmed on The Bump that Riddle is injured and will be unable to face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam this weekend.
On WWE’s weekly talk show, The Bump, it was revealed that Riddle suffered a “brachial plexus injury”, more commonly known as a stinger. This means that The Original Bro will be out of action until further notice.
Kayla Braxton broke the news on the show’s latest broadcast.
“We have breaking news and here it is, Matt. After that attack on Riddle by Seth Rollins on Monday, Riddle has suffered a brachial plexus injury, which is a really bad stinger that has resulted in some significant weakness. As of now, he is medically disqualified until full strength returns and as a result of this, we can officially break here that Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. Riddle at SummerSlam has been postponed.”

Seth Rollins ambushed the RK-Bro man on the latest edition of Raw, delivering two Curb Stomps. One of these was on the floor and the other had the United States Champion’s throat across the ring steps.
It is currently unknown if Seth Rollins will have a replacement opponent at SummerSlam or if he’ll miss the event entirely. At last year’s edition of the show, Rollins suffered a loss to Edge.
