WWE Announces Asuka vs. Mickie James for NXT Takeover Toronto Nov. 19
There was a big surprise during the NXT tapings tonight. I don’t like posting spoilers usually because I know a lot of people don’t want to read things before they air, but in this case I’m doing it because WWE posted on their social media sites and it’s already out there.
The NXT Women’s Champion Asuka was informed by NXT General Manager William Regal that she will have to defend her title against legendary WWE women’s wrestler Mickie James.
Mickie didn’t appear live at the taping because she’s wrestling in Germany at the moment.

I’m very excited about this because Mickie’s been a friend of mine for about seven years and it’s been six years she’s been in a WWE ring. I’m glad that she is returning “home” to the company where she really made a name for herself as five time Women’s Champion and one time Divas Champion.
It’s going to be a great match. I’m pumped about being there live. Welcome home, Mickie. You deserve it.
