WWE has announced the 2024 NIL Class.

The company’s NIL (Name, Image & Likeness) program – which they have dubbed ‘Next In Line’ – has been running since 2021 and aims to “provide a clear pathway from collegiate athletics to WWE.”

On the June 11th edition of NXT, the latest group of athletes was shown sitting in the front row and were introduced to the audience. The group included athletes from a range of backgrounds including Track & Field and Soccer. Interestingly, five had already been part of previous classes in 2023, while one, Carlos Aviles had originally been part of the inaugural class of 2021.

You can see the full NIL Class of 2024 below:

  • Jeremy Cody – University of Miami, Track & Field athlete
  • Carlos Aviles – Ohio State University, Track & Field athlete
  • Jaiden Fields – University of Georgia, Softball player
  • Darci Khan – Howard University, Track & Field athlete
  • Sirena Linton – University of Arkansas, Gymnast
  • Abby Jacobs – University of South Alabama, Soccer player

Aviles may be hoping to replicate the success of fellow 2021 classmate Isaac Odugbesan, who has been making a name for himself in NXT as the current North American Champion, Oba Femi.

The NIL class were witness to a lot of action on NXT as well as a rare appearance by the Undisputed WWE Champion on the show. While there, Cody Rhodes took part in an unexpected reunion with several other former AEW Stars, including Shawn Spears, Lexis King – formerly known as Brian Pillman Jr- and the developmental brand’s latest signing, Ethan Page.
