WWE Allegedly Made Major Judgment Day Booking Mistake

Judgment Day has officially added a new member.

On the June 30 episode of WWE RAW, the faction faced the dilemma of keeping the women’s tag team championship with Liv Morgan ruled out for an extended period.

As the solution, Finn Balor then suggested that Roxanne Perez be named as Morgan’s replacement while she recuperated, calling for a vote.

While Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio appeared apprehensive, they ultimately agreed.

Former WWE writer Vince Russo expressed dissatisfaction over the segment while appearing on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW.

He especially targeted Mysterio’s decision to vote in favor of Perez, saying he failed to understand the logic behind it.

Why in God’s name would Dominik Mysterio vote for that? Like that makes absolutely zero sense, and bro, if he doesn’t vote for it, and then Raquel reluctantly votes for it, because if she doesn’t, she could be stripped of the titles [sic], now you got a three to one, they win anyway. It makes zero sense. [40:16 onwards]

Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder dislocation on the June 16 RAW episode.

Dominik Mysterio May Be Asked To Defend Title At WWE SummerSlam

Dominik Mysterio became the Intercontinental Champion at WrestleMania 41.

He was expected to defend it against AJ Styles at Night of Champions PLE, but it was called off due to him having suffered a rib injury.

While speaking during a Q&A, WrestleVotes speculated that WWE might schedule Mysterio’s match for SummerSlam.

Don’t think the match takes place the next Saturday night, think it’s too soon. Plus, that card’s filling up and they’re presenting it as this PLE, this must-watch, which it will be, but it’s only two hours, about an hour and 27 minutes with commercial. So, I think that card is gonna be full enough. So, I’d expect that match to happen at SummerSlam, and I think it’s gonna be great when it does happen. So, MetLife Stadium looks like the place for that match.

SummerSlam is scheduled to be a two-nighter for the first time since 1988.

Cody Rhodes will face John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship, whereas Jade Cargill will challenge the Women’s Champion.
