WWE Has Allegedly Erased Undertaker Match From History

The Undertaker

The Undertaker is one of the most renowned names in the industry. He was extremely committed to the act, and maintained the character even when he wasn’t in the WWE arena.

It goes without saying that a rivalry with The Deadman was on everyone’s bingo card, for as long as The Undertaker was an active superstar. Not only did he never jump ship from WWE, but he was also one of the few talents who were actually close to Vince McMahon.

Among The Undertaker’s famed rivalries, he shared an intense one with Mr. Kennedy in 2006. During one of their matches, The Deadman executed a brutal stiff chair shot at Mr. Kennedy. It went onto becoming one of the most memorable moments of Survivor Series 2006.

Mr. Kennedy feels WWE has erased The Undertaker’s chair shot from history

The 49-year-old veteran had a conversation with Chris Van Vliet about his pro-wrestling career. During that conversation, they discussed the stiff chair shot by The Undertaker, and he revealed that it feels like WWE may have erased it from history.

It didn’t hurt. I feel like WWE has erased that from their [history], you can only find that on YouTube. Every once in a while it gets scrubbed and taken down, because I’ve tried looking it up a few times, and it’s actually sometimes it’s kind of hard to find or to get a good copy of it.

At Survivor Series 2006, The Undertaker and Mr. Kennedy faced-off in a First Blood Match. Mr. Kennedy secured the victory against the WWE Hall of Famer, but an enraged Deadman retaliated with a vicious chair shot.

This resulted in Kennedy bleeding profusely from the head. However, he later admitted that while it looked horrific, the impact wasn’t as bad as it showed on TV.
