WWE Accused Of Disrespecting Jey Uso With Major Decision

Jey Uso WWE

Jey Uso was dethroned by Gunther on WWE RAW, and not everyone is happy about it.

Fans rallied behind Main Event Jey for months and months, and the fandom was over the moon when he became the new World Heavyweight Champion. It was a defining moment in his career.

However, it was cut extremely short by Triple H. Gunther dethroned him on June 9th, 2025 during Monday Night RAW.

WWE should have done better with Jey Uso

The short title reign is going to become a point of upset in The YEET Master’s pro-wrestling resume. He is possibly one of the superstars who is absolutely over with the WWE Universe.

Even backstage, he has several going ‘YEET’ when they cross paths with him.

This truly shows how popular he is and that the first world championship run should have lasted longer. During a conversation on Behind The Turnbuckle Studios, Jonathan “The Coach” Coachman discussed how the short title run feels more of a disrespect towards the former champion.

He [Rikishi] is not happy with the short title run of his boy, 51 days in Jey Uso. He mentioned the merch, and what did we tonight guys? A brand new shirt. What was it? One word, four letters, or four letters, one word. Every week they come out with something new. It kind of reminds me of The Rock.

When Rock was red hot, for a while he had different shirt every week in every city. But, that was finally The Rock has come back to whatever city he was in. But, think about how many t-shirts you got to sell to make those in specific cities. I mean, he was red hot. Right now, Jey is still red hot.. They disrespected him. I thnk moving forward all of us are going to think a little bit less of Jey because of how short that title reign was.

Gunther did urge Jey Uso to find him right before Goldberg returned to WWE RAW.
