WWE Absolutely Taking WrestleMania To Saudi Arabia

Triple H Saudi Arabia WWE

WrestleMania is on the move in 2026, but one WWE Hall of Famer thinks it’s only a matter of time before the event heads to Saudi Arabia.

The Rock announced in February that WrestleMania 42 would be held in New Orleans in April 2026. But just three months later, WWE decided to take a different approach.

Despite rumours that WWE could take its showpiece event to Mexico, Saudi Arabia, or London, England, it was soon reported that the company had decided to take WrestleMania 42 away from New Orleans and, instead, go to Las Vegas for the second year in a row.

But it might just be a matter of time before the lure of the money on offer in Saudi Arabia could see WrestleMania outside of North America for the first time.

No Emotional Attachment Between WWE & Owners

Speaking on his My World podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett was asked about WrestleMania’s future and if the showpiece event could ever be held in Saudi Arabia:

Absolutely, unequivocally, beyond a shadow of a doubt, hell yes.

There’s no emotional attachment with Ari Emanuel and his crew to WrestleMania. I guarantee you those higher-ups could not tell you any locations of the first thirty Manias…Moving to Saudi, it becomes a no-brainer because they’re going to look at the 0s that New Orleans was going to write them as a site fee. It’s no comparison. It’s literally…it is absolutely no comparison. So that’s why I just think, if not this one, it’s coming.

WWE is heading to Saudi Arabia again at the end of June 2025 for Night of Champions. The company has already confirmed that the 2026 Royal Rumble will take place in the Middle Eastern Kingdom.
