Inquiries Made Within WWE About Bringing Back Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar could yet return to WWE.

In January, Brock Lesnar was implicated in a lawsuit brought against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. Former WWE employee Janel Grant alleged that McMahon had offered her sexual services to an unnamed former UFC Champion and WWE star — believed to be Lesnar.

As the situation developed, Lesnar’s planned return at the Royal Rumble was scrapped. However, it seems there is at least a small chance that he could find his way back to WWE.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez suggested that “inquiries have been made” about bringing Lesnar back.

“In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back.”

Alvarez continued, “I should add regarding Brock. I’m not saying he’s going to be back. I have no idea if he’s going to be back. I wouldn’t bring him back but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made and what that means, we will wait and see. It seems like a bad idea to me. Put it that way.”

When Did Brock Lesnar Last Wrestle In WWE

Brock Lesnar hasn’t stepped into a WWE ring since being defeated by Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023.

Following the lawsuit from Janel Grant going public, Lesnar was removed from all creative with many believing his career was over.
