WWE Announces 2024 Holiday Tour Schedule

The annual WWE holiday tour schedule has been released for the end of 2024 although they left out one particular show for a unique reason.

It has become an annual tradition for WWE to go on tour in the final week of the year. A lot of fans may have wondered if it was going to happen this year since WWE has cut back significantly on the amount of live events they run in a calendar.

TKO Group’s President Mark Shapiro that WWE plans to cut back on the amount of live events they run per year. In past years, WWE used to have over 300 live events, this year the number is around 250 live events, which include television shows, Premium Live Events, and non-televised events aka house shows.

As for the future, Shapiro claimed that World Wrestling Entertainment is likely to have around 200 live events in 2025 meaning it would be about 100 fewer live events from 2023.

World Wrestling Entertainment announced live events, including two television shows, taking place in the final week of the year.

* Thursday, Dec. 26 – WWE Live Holiday Tour at Vystar Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, FL

* Friday, Dec. 27 – Friday Night SmackDown at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL

WWE Live Holiday Tour at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA

* Saturday, Dec. 28 – WWE Live Holiday Tour at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, MD

WWE Live Holiday Tour at Kia Center in Orlando, FL

* Sunday, Dec. 29 – WWE Live Holiday Tour at Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL

WWE Live Holiday Tour at Kaseya Center in Miami, FL

* Monday, Dec. 30 – Monday Night Raw at Toyota Center in Houston, TX

WWE Live Holiday Tour – Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI

That Raw in Houston will be the final Raw episode on USA Network before the move to Netflix on January 6th.

WWE Planning To Continue MSG Tradition During Holiday Tour

When the Holiday Tour was announced, there was no event listed for Madison Square Garden on December 26th (the day after Christmas), which has become a tradition for WWE.

According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, WWE still has an October 25th Smackdown taping at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and the December 14th Saturday Night’s Main Event special at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island. Due to those events in the New York area, WWE is focusing on selling tickets to those shows, but there is still a plan to eventually, officially announce their return to MSG as well.

It has also been revealed that the Brooklyn Smackdown taping on October 25th will be a double taping as well.
