Wrestling World Reacts To Cesaro’s AEW Debut
Many of pro wrestling’s biggest stars have reacted to the AEW debut of former WWE Superstar Cesaro – now known as Claudio Castagnoli.
Ahead of Forbidden Door, speculation was running wild about who would replace the injured Bryan Danielson to face Zack Sabre Jr. and become Blackpool Combat Club’s newest member. All of these questions were answered when Claudio Castagnoli made his first AEW appearance to a rapturous ovation with the Swiss star going on to defeat ZSJ in a technical masterclass.
The entire wrestling world was excited to see the debut of the Swiss Superman and even some of WWE’s top stars took to social media to share their reactions to seeing their former colleague back in the ring, including Xavier Woods and Becky Lynch.

Claudio Castagnoli made his presence felt at the end of the night as well as The Jericho Appreciation Society, the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz all brawled ahead of the Blood and Guts double ring cage match on Dynamite. Claudio Castagnoli left Cool Hand Ange in a spin as he swung Angelo Parker over twenty times.
