Wrestling Veteran Tells Ric Flair To Shut Up

Ric Flair AEW

Ric Flair isn’t winning any friends.

On May 15, AEW announcer Jim Ross revealed that he’d been diagnosed with colon cancer and would be undergoing surgery in the coming weeks.

The WWE Hall of Famer eventually went under the knife on May 27, and the surgery is believed to have been a success. Ross has since returned home to continue his recovery and remains adamant that he’ll continue his career and has no desire to retire.

Ross is particularly beloved within the wrestling community, and the news of his ill health sparked an outpouring of love and support for the commentary legend. However, in a now-deleted bizarre social media post, Ric Flair accused Ross of attention seeking after revealing his diagnosis.

Unsurprisingly, Flair’s comments have proven to be wildly unpopular.

Dutch Mantell Blasts Ric Flair

On his Storytime with Dutch Mantell podcast, the veteran and former WWE star took Flair to task for his recent comments, lack of intelligence, and allegations of sexual misconduct.

With regard to the deleted post about Ross, Mantell branded the Nature Boy a “d*ck.”

“Why would he say that? Because he’s a d*ck. No kidding. What difference does it make to to Ric Flair, the man’s sick, and he was just telling people what’s going on with him… He needs to shut up. He really does.”

The veteran added, “You won’t sit down and have any kind of physics discussion with Ric Flair.”

Mantell later discussed an alleged incident where Flair exposed himself at Gary Juster’s wife’s party several years ago, calling the incident “unforgivable” and “embarrassing.” These comments were made in relation to a “Wooooo Compromise” document relating to sexual consent shared by Flair on social media.

There’s no love lost between Flair and Mantell, with the latter commenting that he had “no sympathy” for the WWE Hall of Famer when allegations of sexual misconduct were highlighted during an episode of Dark Side of the Ring in 2021.

During the ‘Plane Ride from Hell’ in 2002, it’s alleged that Flair exposed himself to an air stewardess, making her very uncomfortable.
